Well, I wanted to build something as I recently learned that there were places where to build in SL.

My first attemps in pure creation are... well... first attempts :) Better not show...

Usually you build things in a "sandbox" place but I discovered, by chance, a whole island where you can build ! Well, this gave me the idea of putting together a house and a worshop and a shop (I wish I could do that in RL). And I am rather satisfied by the result. Several people stopped by and told me this was an unusual style in SL and that they like it. Here it is...

The shop seen from the workshop, house in the left background.

The difficult part in using prefab is selection. You easily get huge lots of freebies and only let's say half of them are valuable and for someone with very precise tastes like mine... well, this is pretty difficult to find something at all ! But I really like these little modern warehouses of concrete with a large window at the rear and a wood structure in the front. They have a little japanese something, haven't they ? I wonder if the designer got inspired by "tori" portals to build the wood structure...

For its colors (do I have to confess that I like orange ?) and mix of materials. I haven't done anything inside (yet) but there's a good potential.
